Well anyways...this part has like a million names for it but the fact of the matter is that my if JACKED!

haha

the bushings are all shot so I went to go purchase them and the cheapest i found was ~68 each.

My question is..........

Would I be able to buy just the bushings for it and get it pressed instead of the whole arm? The arms are in great shape!

Shogun linked me here before for my rear brake shoes. I guess I can return the favor:

Seems like a good brand, quality looks good in picture.

okay, you leave the car on the ground. no need to jack it up, just undo the old bolt remove the old dogbone and replace with the new items. you can't replace anything "old" on the dogbone, you have to replace the whole item.

I have a set of them, I'm planning to install this weekend. Part quality seems good. I have the complete front suspension from Karlyn and it's holding up ok after 1 year on the car. I do have some cracked boots the driver side tre's though.

i know lemforder is the best and all and i do love my car as i have had it for 8 years now but it has 162 k on it and i dont know when its going to die on me so i dont want to dump too much into it...

do you recommend another brand that will do the job?

the cheapest brand offered by bma should be fine. there's not much year on this item meaning it should last for a long time anyway.

Meyel?

Ocap?

i calculated it and its going to be ~40 bucks more to get the lemforder...now here is the question...

is that worth it?

how does Meyel stand up to lemforder?

I've bought numerous KarLyn suspension pieces for my e32, e34, & e36 and they seem to be well made. Can't go wrong with dogbones, just about any brand should do. $17 ea for Karlyn at AutoHausAZ vs. $65 ea for Lemforder at Pelicans -- a no brainer for me. I could buy 3 sets of Karlyns and still save.

I got the cheap brand and 1 month the seals were cracking, now the insides squished out so I suppose I get more cheap **** or fess up for something that will stay in 1 peice for more than a month... hmm....
