I currently have the E46 18' rims on and are switching out the rears. I was wondering if leaving the fronts at 18's and putting 19's on the rears would work?

It will work, but you must be ready for a lot of suspension parts to wear exceptionally faster than with 17's.

be careful, you must keep the overall dia meter of the tyres close aotherwise the ABS thinks you are skidding! So select the profile of the 19s to stay close to the o/A dia of your existing 18s

As posted watch overall diameter of the tires, 24s will even fit with caution to diameter... not too much sidewall there so it will track like a rail!

Ok, the tires will be the same on rears and fronts, the rims are both the same exact m3 rim style, the backs are just 19's instead of 18's like the front.

I wont need any spacers or anything else?

you shouldnt need spacers,as i beleive the e46 m3 uses "5 series type" offsets..but i reiterate keep the o/all diameters the same

E46 M3 definitely does not use E34-like offsets

yeah not the same at all, had to get 30mm H&R spacers for the e46 m3 wheels
