You just need to buy a new key fob, either blank or already made for your car.

i got it off a 520i m50 e34. didn't get to install it yet. it's supposed to be plug and play if the key and control unit are from the same car right? anyway the key is realy cool

you just need a new key fob which fits to your car, that is all.
You can buy from the dealer a blank key fob or one which is already made for your car.
Blank key fob my kind of Mr. Minit completed based on the original car key.
