this is for my 94 525im

please let me know.

i believe when i bought the car the obc did not work also.
i changed it to an analog clock.

i have a bmw alarm installed.

please let me know.

You've obviously got a wiring fault/fuse blown or removed...

If one didnt work, and you've replaced it with something else that doesnt work, the fault lies within the car not the clock/obc.

I hear that the obc also runs off the same fuse as the alarm?

ok, i tried another obc unit and it worked!

but call me crazy, i want to make my analog clock that i bought to work on my e34.

how come the obc works and the analog does not......


i have a factory alarm...

please let me know.....

Armed with the correct wiring diagram and a voltmeter, you can determine whether or not the clock is getting the voltage it requires where it belongs. Might be a good idea to bench-test that clock, too -- it could be knackered.
