dying trans???

My Auto trans will only shift into 4th when I hit 62km/h, speed limit here in New Zealand is 50km in town.
So I'm in 3rd gear most of the time, when I'm in 4th I can push the (M,D) mode,that should be 4th gear manual right ? But I changes back down to 3rd.
If Im in 3rd and Push the (M.D) mode no change ,It won't go up to 4th until I push the button back to (E.D) going over 62km of course.

So what ya guys think tranny dying???

Filter&fluid done about 4 months ago still looks clean.

if you select "M" or manual mode the tranny will only shift up to 3rd gear even if you put it in "D". Your tranny is fine. your shifting is normal 50 in 3rd.

When should my auto change into 4th gear,driving at normal speeds?(E,D)
I'm pretty sure it use to change into 4th at a lower speed 50-55Km
