Yes,

Are you sure?? The automatic transmission doesn't break?? The automatic transmission doesn't use a ECU or DME??

Doesn't exist relation between one or another ECU or DME??

Thanks for your answer!! ;)

I sell them even, very popular on the German 7-forum among M30B35 drivers.
Which MOTRONIC do you have? -150 or -178/179.
Very important, as the engine will not start when you install the wrong chip.

On the German 7-Forum they have even made an instruction how to install it under Tips and Tricks
http://www.7-forum.com/forum/24/chip-tunning-motronic-bosch-end-nr-92989.html
or here
http://www.siteworld.de/wolferin/
click on Chip Umbau on the left.

Only the MOTRONIC chip has to be replaced, not the tranny chip.

Nothing will break, you will not get suddenly a racing car with such a chip.
This chip gives as per the statement on the German 7-forum:

up to 10% more HP max
up to 10% more Nm
more push in lower RPM range
less fuel consumption (some speak of less 2 liters/100 km compared to original chip), of course, it always depends on your driving style.
no different fuel is required, same as before

RPM in idle will be a bit lower it is reported.

If you are interested, send me a PM. Delivery from Japan by airmail.

i have the EAT chip in my auto 535 and have no problems and enjoy better performance the only thing you should be careful of is a chip that raises the rev limit as this may cause problems for the auto

He meant the engine will get problems with higher revs and 200k miles at age of >15.

Where can I buy the chip from? I have an auto 525i and looking to buy the chip, I have found it on the mye34.net? or mye34.com? website a week ago but I can't find that site again, it was listed for $250.

mate, an auto 535i with a different chip works fine. don't worry about anything else about rev limits, your auto gearbox shifts well before the rev limit is reached.

I have a similar setup with no associated downfalls.
