m parrallels or the bbs or rondell look alikes for me.If you are on a budget here is something to think about.8 in ch tyres are ussually significantly more expensive than 17,s,and a staggered setup gives you less options dwn the road when your tyres are worn and you have an incident which may destroy a tyre.New bigger wheels may start the E34 shimmy, which you will have to take care of with control arm bushings at a minimum or maybe new arms and bushings.

I'm using 16" wheels from a 2002 BMW 530i and they look great for a low price. If you can find cheaper M-Parallel replicas, even better.

BBS RX or RS 17's will look great!

I've got 18s on at the minute but would love to change them for 17" throwing stars to help give it a less 'harsh' ride. I love the way my current wheels look but I like a comfortable ride too... And I hear bigger wheels slow you down too.
