The title says it all... which one should I get?
For the Eisenmann votes... there is a race/sport any ideas on which to choose?
:D

I too am looking for a better-sounding exhaust, but just want to repalce the muffler...

Are you going cat back no silencer/resonator?

if I can get something that's not too raspy, then yes. I am currently driving a friend's 330 convertible, and he bought it with an aftermarket muffler that is really nice and throaty down low, but not super loud at high rpm's. I would like to duplicate that in my 525.

I second B&B. Eisenmann is a close second.

I think it sounds better. Quality-wise, I am unsure, but B&B has a better site, if that counts...:)
Youtube is your friend, and some exhaust companies have sound clips.

well, through youtube, I like the sound of the Eisenmann race exhaust.
I would run no cats and no resonator. However I would make (or have made) flanges so I could reconnect the resonator and the cats back on the cat.

I've got a B & B on my 540, and like it. Build quality is very good, and it's not obnoxious sounding. I wasn't sure if the others would be as quiet, and they were twice the money. I'm not knocking them, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a droning in the car when cruising. BTW, I'm not sure they offer just a muffler.

yeah, I've driven an E36 M3 with the Eisenmann, and it was honestly amazing at 4k+ RPMs, but it cannot compare to the M30 or M50 engines. B&B seems to have a smoother but nice sound compared to the rougher Eisenmann sound.

B&B lists their exhaust system for any e34 for just about 1k. Eisenmann is harder to find, and costs around the same, so how is one cheaper than the other, unless found somewhere special or on ebay? Eisenmann's website doesn't even list the E34 as supported or sold anymore.

Eisenmann would be about 1.3k to put on +600 for jet-hot headers

4k rpm+ is what I am looking for... :D
The e36 M3 engine has a very similar variation to the M50 put in the e34

umm... the plot thickens!
Now I have to decide if I want a bolt on system or a custom one!
Btw... did the B&B kit include a resonator?

Lol... I dono! I like the eisenmann really alot, but the B&B seems to grab everyone on this forum... Maybe I should go w/ the eisenmann just to be unique ;)
