Hello everyone, brand new to this site. I have a 1994 525i wagon with 182000 miles. I LOVE this car!! Great for the kids and built like a tank.

I need to replace the highmount third brakelight on my car, but I am having one hell of a time finding any websites to order the complete part (lens and lights). Does anyone know of any websites where I can order this part from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Mike

Am hoping you're in the US and you've got a US spec Touring. Guessed about a 6/93 build date to look up the part numbers, but I don't think those are any different from one Touring to the next.

I bought a used one from vines for just over $150 shipped...it came with the black aero piece too.

You didn't say why you need to replace the whole light. Is it completely dead? That would likely indicate a busted wire in one of the wire harnesses probably. Or do you just have a bunch of dead bulbs? You can replace the bulbs pretty easily, but there are like 24 of them @ about $3 each.

Scotty, yes, I ordered 10 new lights and will only be replacing those. A sigh of relief that I don't have to replace the whole device.

No, it is there, just need to replace 10 of the burned out lights. I ordered 10 lights and will begin work shortly.

You can replace just the burnt out ones, but I'd recommend replacing all of them. The ones that aren't burnt will not last long and you'll end up doing it all again.
