Hasn't there someone that was able to get the orignal options purchased on a car.

I just pciked up a sweet 88 325IX for a song and a smile:) I'd like to know if it had the M- option package. It has a steering wheel with the colors..

there should be a piece of paper under your rear seat (you have to remove the seat and look underneath) with your options codes printed on them.

You can get this information from BMW whenever you want it, just send full VIN to customer.information(at)bmwfin.com and they will reply with the original build information

the build sheet isnt alwas under the back seat...i found mine under the front LH seat(RHD car with sports eletri seats(dont know if that mkes a difference)
