I emailed the company to see if they would at least sell the o-rings and nylon sleeves and I would do the work. It just feels funny sending one of your $1300 shocks halfway around the world.

Haven't heard back from them, but at least I'm glad someone is doing it. I live in Central Illinois where Caterpillar headquarters is located, finding someone that knows anything about hydraulic dampers is actually easy. The only worry I have is the available parts. My Uncle said, "Don't worry I can machine anything you need." Now all I've got to do is grow some balls....

The guys over on the M5 board started this option with another company and it fizzled out. I'm glad they pursued the procedure with a different company. By the looks of Sportsline, they are a high end, high tech company.
