'97 E34 touring? I thought even in Europe production ceased in June 1996?

What you have is the basic multi-function clock. Must be a parts-bin car to have the automatic climate control and not the OBC. Leftovers from the last months of production?

I think tourings get produced later on perhaps ? Unless it was bought in 1997. I know that the 3 series cabrios get on the market a year or so later than the new coupe models.

Manufacture date is in the driver's door sill.

Welcome amongst us !

what you took a picture of is the ob-C- not to be confused with ob-D- which is the engine control computer's diagnostic computer.

the guy who sold it to me said that the touring model is going to 1997 so must be one the last one produced.

but now i have a new question...
where is the amplfier/crossover if there is one.....are there an cross over/amp in all of the e34 models?

Later amps are active x-overed and more than 4 channels amplification... so you either start over from scratch building you own passive xovers, (or new 3 way set and passives) + amplification, or leave it alone.
