I though Japanese cars were RHD.
I really, really, really want that car.

none of the bmw's i have seen in japan are rhd, although some of the mercedes I see are.

In Canada, if a vehicle is 15 years old or more, we can import anything we want. No 'federalization'.

That cools my jets.
Granted, it's a desirable car but that price puts it competition with lots of more desirable cars.
I'll wait for the reply, perhaps the realities of the marketplace have cleared the sellers mind.

That is the problem. In Japan there are so many nice older BMW like E34 and E32, Alpinas, but they are all exported to somewhere else, Canada, Middle East, Europe, NZ, etc.

today on offer here:

B10 13.000 $

B10 4.500 $ 107,409 km
http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p110542342

and more Alpinas

I'd like to point that they are all AUTOs, hence not very desirable.

Yeah, and the first one is missing the screwdriver in the tool compartment. That would take a hit on the price, I'm sure.

Speaking of Alpinas though, yesterday I saw a B7 (in Montreal) and it did not look like much. It did not have the distinctive wheels or much of a modified front, just the B7 and Alpina tags on the trunk. Just thought that was odd. Some rich old guy with snow on top of his head (white hair). None of the famous decorative painted lines we usually see on the sides neither.

I'm always surprised everytime I see an exotic car with a Quebec license plate. Even saw a big recent Bentley once, a few Bentley Coupes here and there and a very mean looking big bad 4 door black Maserati with a V12.

Maybe I can afford one of those when I get the snow on top.

really? there are a TON of exotics in Montreal, including 2 Enzo's. Lots of money here, dude. Westmount has more millionaires per square km than Manhatten.
