A Mazda 3, roflmao... I only have cell pics. It was smashed good though, heh. (Honestly, I don't even friggin know how the bumper is so perfect, it's only got a moderate scratch on the bump strip and on the top of the corner, some paint is off, about 4 inches long and max width in the center of about 2mm... I'm shocked :)

I was in fairly heavy traffic, wasn't tailgating, wasn't speeding - right as I crossed an intersection and got into an overpass, the lady in front of my SLAMS on her brakes. I was just about to change lanes from the left to the right, so I manage to get a slight angle instead of head-on. I slid almost a car length and hit her passenger rear.

What happened with her, was a truck had stopped 2 cars in front of her, and the car in front of this lady darted to the right, and apperently she was fixated on this little car car directly ahead, so seeing the stopped truck apear in front of her surprised her. She had plenty of room, but because she got scared, she braked as hard as she could.

I'm lucky it was only the corner. I hit the metal connector that is across the road when entering onto the overpass. It was wet, and so was the metal piece. As soon as I hit it, that's when I started skidding. Argh.

What pisses me off the most, is she knew she ****ed up - but didn't even bother to apologize. You know when somebody does something wrong, but they know they can get away with it, and they sorta sink into themselves, don't look at you, and get extremely quiet - because they're ashamed? This lady seriously ****ed up, but even though I wasn't following any closer than anybody, less than my usual too, I get ****ed.

Yea, the bumper didn't move, even the headlight still works, although aimed to the left about 20*, and up about 5*. Not bad!. I should post a night shot of the cockeyed 5er.
I'm lovin my new E28 though, lol...

Could happen to anybody!

Panzer ftw.

I still can't get over that! Panzer bumper man.

You sure that won't polish out?

Hah, that was my first though, I actually gave the lady my card :P
It was a rental car anyways.

Where is your corner marker?

lol! Yea, you can barely see it now, it's in a bunch of little pieces all held together by the shoved-in fender. I took the bulb out of it,
...which wasn't broken btw. :D

Seriously though, does anybody have a driver's side fender?

...Preferably lachsilber-metallic, otherwise I'll repaint it...
As long as I have a fender I'm good...
