535iM 1991 - brake lining message

I had my brake rotors, pads, and sensors changed two weeks ago at a good indie shop, used the car last weekend (200 miles) without difficulty, and today had the 'brake linings' warning come up.
All seems fine.
Is this a simple reset issue?

If the indy doesnt fix this right away then:

Sounds like there is a problem with one of the wear sensors, pull the left front and right rear tire and check if they were replaced and that they were connected correctly.
