i am in the middle of replacing a gasket inside of my gransmission, and though all of the clutches and whatnot look good, i found that my overdrive gearset/ input shaft gears sound "squeaky" when turned by hand. the noise is best described as the sound a squeegee makes when you drag it across an almost dry surface. the transmission in this car has whined for at least 80k miles, wondering if the two are connected. thanks.
