I WAS GOING TO BUY THIS! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&viewitem=&item=260220996322&_trksid=p3907.m32)

Some idiot bid it up over my max with 12 hours still to go. Don't people understand sniping anymore? Jeez. Hey, you guys, do me a favor and buy it out from under whoever.

:( :( :(

I'm sad.

Now I'm back to square 1, ie tranny swap. Anybody got a donor they want to sell cheap?

You do know those are E39 wheels, right? Be sure to check for the correct hub rings in case the Ebay used-car dealer didn't bother. I can't imagine what kind of gas the driver must have been passing to ruin a seat that badly. Otherwise looks like a nice car and not a bad price with a new clutch and all. The Traction Control is well worth it.

Yes, I bought it. Picking it up on Thursday afternoon, driving back to TN Thursday night / Friday morning. Holy saints be with me, I'm an idiot.

looks like the first sale sold to a joker with zero feedback, then the second auction was put up for prozak to bid on

That's it, "second chance." I paid too much, but cost of this (minus) what I get for mine (should equal) less than a tranny swap, and I come out with heated seats, traction control (whatever that's worth), those nice wheels / tires and 20k fewer miles. I think I can live with it. :)
