It's time. Family is growing, so wife wanted me to sell one of my cars to get a mini van! Owned my 92 525ia for 1.5 years and put 10k miles on it. I have to say all 10k miles were happy miles. Definitely the best car I have ever own. Perfect mix of comfort, performance and style. I like it a lot more than my wife's 07 325ia. It's easy to maintain. The only thing I replaced was the thermostat and brake light switch.

You guys are very informative and very helpful. I learn a lot from this forum. THANK YOU. I hope someday I'll be a e34 owner again. No more automatic. I want a 5sp.

We'll think of you often :D

Best of luck in the future and give us a ring when you get that 5 speed.

I am keeping a 93 Toyota T-top MR2 and a 93 Mercedes 300e.

The MR2 is in very good shape. 130k miles. All originals. T-top, 5sp, rear engine and RWD. Runs on 87 octane gas. Never been raced or abused. It's a a fun car for southern California weather.

The 300e has only 70k miles. It's not as fun to drive as the e34 but it's in like new condition. Interior wood trim, leather seat, head liner...all in like new. I was struggling to sell the 300e or e34. I ended up keeping the 300e because it has very low mileage. The 300e currently has a blown head gasket (common problem in all 300e). I couldn't sell it anyway.

I love everything on the e34 except the auto tranny.

You wouldn't have sold it if it was a 5 spd :)

I drove mine again today, and wondered why I'm thinking of selling it.

bc you want to sell me the wheels ;)
