Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to bypass the Integrated Climate Control Regulation Module. My 1995 525i needs this part. The part is approx. $803 and is a coded part, so you have to go to the dealer for install, etc.
It is the motherboard that controls the switch buttons to turn on the AC, the rear defrost, and the recirc. I could live without the rear defrost and recirc, if I could just turn the AC on! The ac works, it is just that the button that turns it on, does not illuminate when pressed, nor turn on the AC.
