I am always thrilled when the first race of the season comes up. F1 is probably one of my only passions in life. If I lived in Chicago, I'd come over. However, it's about an 8 hour drive from Western Kentucky, so I probably won't make it. Sorry!

Hey Paul,
I fell asleep in my chair last night so didn't see what happened with Kimi.
Attending a birthday party this evening myself. Decided not to revisit the freak show at the last venue, eh? I don't hold it against you.
How's the cell phone jihad going?

Paul,

You should host a "trash your crib" F1 get together this Spring before the Summer Meet.

It has to be planned out tho, snowing today....good day to stay in the garage and tinker with the new toy.

Hey Paul,
Decided not to revisit the freak show at the last venue, eh? I don't hold it against you.
How's the cell phone jihad going? Can’t blame ya Ross, those ‘girls’ were soooo not into the race. I could see giving some ‘breeders’ a hard time in Boystown.............but we were in Lincoln Park West.
The other guy, Gene(?) worth meeting him.
I’m in semi boycott mode anyway due to the smoking ban. Can’t stay away from eating out though, but then again i never lit up at the dinner table anyway. That and my involvement with the RP campaign is a convo for another time.

As for the cell Jihad, i let my stickers and driving example (signals, lane discipline) speak for me.
Oh and hanging up on peeps that call me while driving. *smirk*

Oh, Kimi?
Something on his car quit just outside of the pits...technically an on track retirement during qualifying.
Back of the grid. *bummed*
Oh well, he’ll ‘finish’ 4th, maybe 3rd. *grin*

kimi had fuel pump problems...started 15th
he had real pace evnwith the soft tyres(which no one else seemed to be able to make work) and a big fuel lod(he did a two stopper),but he
1) got stucjk behingdRubens at about 7th,then outbraked recovered somewhat then spun, and restarted ...that was it,he got a point though I think cos so many broke down or crashed.meanwhile LH was on fastest lap after fastest lap out front.

I don't have Speed channel. Is that the only channel that carries F1? I am in California. Worst case, I guess I have to bittorrent.
