So, I've been waiting to get my hands on some 7 series MPARS but I've been doing alot of reading up. I like the mpar style better, but handling and performance wise, would it make more sense to go with these, there local, hows the price look?

I'm also about to go from my stock suspension to bilstien sports and eibachs...I think...?

I also gotta work out my temp gauge, the end likes to rest at the end of the middle line (so slightly high) and has been doing so for the past few weeks...ugh! :(

EDIT: So check it, I just found a set of mpars, local, for CHEAP, which makes them sound fishy. Check my first post in page two, it has all the info...sorry I'm typing on my BlackBerry so check the other post! So confusing since thee offset of the E38 mpars are different then normal E34 spec and the tstars are E31 850 spec not the E34 M5's so I don't know what is better performance fit and such wise...

I really like the look of the t-stars and would love to get my hands on a set that didn't break the bank. I think $1200 is a pretty good price considering you can't get them new with tires for less than $2500.

AWWW DAM! thats my color too! jon k? alright, im prob gonna make him an offer, any thing i should be worried about i regard to the current set of tires he has on them? if you look in the last pic (on craigslist) too it seems the front driver side has a bit of rash right on the top, or is that just the picture?

hard to tell from the picture if it has been curbed or not, it could be just the rim protector on the tyre, but if they have been curbed then thats why all the picture were taken from the other side of the car

I'm a big fan of t stars. hot looking wheel without being too crazy/attention getting. plus you can take the covers off, 2 wheels in 1. plus wide so you can take wide tires.

also they look much better with a drop obv

Yea...the other thing is that these are E31 wheels....check out the part #'s he listed. (227 438 & 227 439) Will the different offset be a big issue, is that the only difference?

cant hotlink the table image, check out the table and part #'s here: http://bimmer.roadfly.com/e31/messages/archive/msgsy2001w05/12223.html

OK! Now life just got way more complacted. Some guy near by is selling 4 M-pars, perfect condition he said they just need a cleaning. I might go check them out. Here's the kicked, he's asking $700 for them. I'm getting part #'s and we'll see, but performance wise the tsars would be better, even though there E31 spec?

e 34 .net says
You need to be careful with E31 wheels... the fronts are generally et10-et13, putting the wheels further outward. They will work but will alter the suspension geometry and widths 235mm or greater may rub at full steering wheel lock.I run 235/45/17

However I have 8.5 in wide 13mm or 15mm offset wheels(17x8) and i dont have any rubing and i havent noticed any untoward handling issues, apart from a recent return of the shimmy, which may or may not be related to the more outward postion of the wheels.
