DAMN!!! super clean in there, I hope those are reinforced engine mounts for the kind of power your putting down.

"Impressive" isn't strong enough of a word. WoW!

I'm too new around here to know the whole saga...but congrats!

So...did you use the Reynold's Wrap to fashion a new heat shield? :)

stock engine mounts for now - solid trans mounts now. If I go to solid front engine mounts and solid trans mounts they say it could risk ripping the mounts off the subframe. I am probably going to buy a chunk of aluminum later and make a solid mount. The mount isn't as easy as it looks as its not all in-line. the top stud I believe is offset, or the bottom, but whichever one side is off-center.

nope

i wrapped the wiring harness in it when i painted the engine bay so it was easier to mask off vs taping.

VERY impressive, Jon. What sort of time frame are you looking at to get it all back together and running?

dunno we have a (surprise) blowneuroz meet march 30 planned by my co-founder friend and yeah its uh soon. so, i am going to TRY for march 30... if everything goes perfect, it might work. But, if not I will try and trailer the car there and finish whatever is left at home

After following all the post where you were getting everyting painted and prepped, it is good to see where it's all going. Can't wait to see, and hear, the end result.

Good job!

You should start your own tunerbrand like Alpina or get your car on Top gear.
