So I've got the adapter off and the rubber boot. Now what? :) That ring doesn't seem to twist well, and I'm not going to force it in case I destroy the autolevelling somehow.
I've tried counterclockwise and it goes a few millimeters and stops. Is it JUST an eventual twisting motion that will release it? No pull or push? I already came to the conclusion it must be some twist off as there are two notches apparently for it to slide over the bulb adapter retention posts....
