I have the little mirror-cover closed, and I fold it up, I even push it up and it stays on. It only turns on or off when I turn on the parking lights...
What the hell, it just started this tonight while I was watching the lunar eclipse, creepy dude. Frikkin lunar gremlins.
Any thoughts?

Something similar happened to me. I had taken out the headliner to re-do the material, then after re-installation of the headliner and all the components, i turned on my lights and the light under my visor was only on, except it was up and closed. So I took out the 4 screws holding it, re-checked the connections, put it back in place and it worked fine. Don't know what the problem was but it's gone.

Did you tighten screws holding it? My cars driver visor light came on every time I turned on the lights until I did that.

There must be something wrong with the mirror sensor. Closing the mirror should turn off the light. Also the light should only go on when the parking or headlights are on and the mirror is open.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious. LOL!!!

I've had that issue with all my e34s ... Keep pushing on the front section of the visor/opening and closing it until it shuts off.

Every single time I have used the visor the damn light wouldn't shut off when I put it back up without me messing with it for half an hour ... I have learned not to use it and have a pair of sunglases in the car instead.
