Not really OT but.. At last I have a complete 5 valve BMW F2,the helper who assembled the top hid away the cam cover and has reappeared with it completely "engine turned", its enough to make Jon K cry! My question is this, anybody got an idea of how to protect it? Laquer? Epoxy Varnish? Suspect it will get pretty hot.
