Anyone know of a good sealing solution for replacement headlight lenses? Regular silicone ok? Contact cement?

What have you guys used and what works?

When you say lenses, do you mean the actual face of the light? Because there is someone who makes plastic lenses for the face of the light. Or do you mean the entire housing, which is also manufactured.

clear silicone, flowable so it fills the voids.
carefully removing all the original sealant helps a bunch.

do this with the lenses pointing up and the housings out of the car for the best results and let it dry overnight before installing the chrome trim rings.

By lenses, I mean the glass pieces in front of the headlight housing. I figured clear silicone would do the trick. I will use that.

I used window weld.
