It says they take H4 bulbs? I have a NA spec 1991 525. Do I need any kind of adapters or will these plug right in?

are the adaptors easy to find? I assume it's a plug that plugs into my current headlight plugs, and then has an H4 plug at the end?

Adapters needed... or splicing.

I have that set of lights on my car. The come with the necessary adapters and use H1 bulbs. From what I can tell they are built pretty well.

I had great luck using the bmwlight replacement lenses on my stock housings.
I considered the alternatives and I could easily refresh these again if they get pitted or cracked and still be in for less money. The best part was that I didn't have to mess with the adjusters. Just remove the assembly, bake in oven 200*, pry or smash glass lenses, remove old silicone, apply new silicone and new lens.

I also removed the reflector around the projector for an x-ray look with no adverse effects on the beam pattern.

Anyone ever have any melting issues with those plastic lens? How about you folks with HID's? I want to go with HID's in the near future and was thinking about going with the plastic lens from BMWlight but was unsure about any melting or discolorization.
