Radios Without Codes

This may be a waste of time, but I've seen many radios in BMWs in junkyards where the radio hasn't been taken because nobody wants a cassette anymore, or no one wants to fool around trying to get it out..

Which brings my question, is there a way to get the code for a radio out of a car in a junkyard?

Relatively easy.
Either you go to BMW and have the parts guy there check the serial number, as he will be convinced you did not steal the radio,
