The follwing are descriptions of new pumps from e-bay and BMA. realoem spits out the part # 16141181354 which matches the second description. However, the BMA website lists a pump which better matches the first description. Hmmmmm........

I know I could/should pull the pump to kow for certain, but does anyone know with confidence what pump I would need?

From BMA website for a 91 525:
The code 16141181354 comes up on realoem when I enter my car's details too. This pump seems to be good for anything from a 518 to an M5 if this thread is to be believed:

I couldnt come up with anything for the other code apart from a seller on Ebay Australia that claims it fits:(
