Have you finished the swap? I've been looking for the write up.

Took the Elekta on the 6th annual 500km quail trip to south texas this past weekend with my eldest....classic bomber run past san antonio almost to the border on hwy 281. avg 90-105... made it in under 4 hours.

I have ET15's on now.

Imelda (you gotta be an old timer to know who I'm talkin' about) had a couple sets of those. Good lookin' rims.

They look great on e34's.

Go Easy! on yourself I mean....it is going to blow your mind how much fun it is. The first day I got mine, I picked it up at the Presidio (thankfully my bro went to oakland to BTE...which is pretty scary)....but I drove it to downtown san fran to the apple store, and bouncing that exhaust off those old buildings with the pull thru a few blocks in 2nd gear up to about 5500 is etched in my mind as one of the greatest sounds in the world. Your gonna love taking it to Tahoe for spring skiing. Truckee to Squaw is a great run all loaded up with females

don't pick it apart, they're old cars with a few stories to tell. I have two boxes of stuff to put on it, in it, but I think I'm just going to put 10k miles on it first, just to get to know it.

Congratulations!

It's nice to see someone using an M5 touring for what it's made for. They're not just made for hauling, they're made for hauling ass too. I've been driving a '95 M5 six speed for the last couple of weeks. To be honest it's not that much quicker than my '91. But, I've put $25k into my '91 over the past three years.

I have a similar memory in my '91 driving through S.F. That was with no resonator and Eisenmann race:D
