Well as the title states, and if it gets totaled then the H&R springs and billies will be for sale and the 7series 16X8 weave with good tires (about 6months old). For the wheels and tires $500 + shipping from 37090 and for the suspension make an offer for now because I have know idea what they are worth (about 2yrs old). This is the setup on my car in my sig.

Oh and my parts for my 5spd swap will be up too, if it gets totaled. 525i trans (140k miles), pedals, m20 single mass fly and clutch (10k miles, you will need a euro throwout bearing for this set up to work, I can get one at cost if interested.), tranny brace, and some misc. parts. I'll take pics if I need to. $500 + shipping for everything.

Herbert.

What about the deer? Are you selling any parts? ;)

Sorry to hear about your back luck. Seems you're taking in stride.

That sucks, I hate to hear about another e34 getting smashed up by deer.
Any idea on the price on the H&Rs?

Herb

Deer is dead, hood/ds fenter/bumper/ds light assm./ and center grill all smashed. It is not super bad or anything, but considering the age of the car and the miles - it's not looking good.

that sucks, is there anyway you can buy it back from your insurance company, and repair it yourself?

I did a repair for some damage caused by a parked hit and run that included almost as much stuff as that in an afternoon.. and I take forever to do anything (hood smashed smashed and evidently got misaligned), front grille, bumper, bumper mounts, and FR fender replaced due to dent and scratches. Hope it works out :( , unless theres more damaged than whats obvious its really not a lot to repair.

mmm venison.
Sorry about the car Herb. No other casualties it appears so that's good.
You might reconsider selling off your suspension. Lots of work to remove for ?? money and then the car REALLY becomes a white elephant. I'd try to sell it as a roller.
Somone here was just looking for a rear bumper cover BTW, for a touring, perhaps same?

********TOTALED******** Est. was around $3600, showed up as totaled at just over $3000 in to the est. I'll post pics of my stuff for sale in just alittle bit.

I'll have about a week to sell the wheels and suspension. I foregot to inform everyone that I will need repacements for everything, so it can be rolled or driven onto the transport truck when it arrives. Sorry about that, I got ahead of myself.

I will buy the front plate filler from you right now! I am sorry about your car, exact same colour as mine, it hurts to see :(

Herb

Foregot about the filler plate, thanks.

I can't get the hood open, but if I do I'll most likely use it for an OBDI swap for an e36 328i I am looking at.

Death is not enough. I think it's time for God to kill all deer for it's only a matter of time before his stupid brother comes waltzing in the middle of the highway when I'm driving...

Herb

Jon,
Kesslerbmw wants the whole car if I buy it back and then he will drive it home. As for the intake, I will keep it for the obdI swap for my new 328i. Sorry man.

Sorry for the late response everyone, but here is an update.

Still waiting on the ins to give me an offer.

Kesslerbmw has dibbs on the whole car if buy back is right for him, so no parts till that is settled.

My wife asked me Wed. if I could get another e34 for less than $4000, I said yes. I told her that if that is what she wanted then I would keep the suspension and rims so that we wouldn't have to buy that stuff again, and that I would find a 5spd so that itch would be settled too. The thought of no major buying/parts to tinker with sealed the deal with her. Currently eyeing a red 1989 535i/5 red on tan in good condition for less than $3000.

On Wed. I sold our 4Runner and bought a 1997 328i.

1997 328i 4dr 5spd
The good - It may have an s52, that has yet to be confirmed by a vin on the motor, it has a M Power cover (but so does my stock NV M50 in the 5er), rebuilt A/C, Boston Green paint 7-8/10, tan int. 8-9/10, 5spd feels great, tracks straight, pulls really strong, has an LSD, all window function fine, all door cards are perfect, motor is silky smooth.

The Bad - Salvage title (only paid $4500 + taxes), I have no idea why the salvage title - no noticable paint and no rust. The only problems it is having is a stuck open thermastat (wont go past 1/4 temp, barely passed the "Blue" mark), and a lose wire that keeps the radio (after market) and the auto/digital HVAC unit from working right (they keep cutting on and off). wbacd3326vav20489 if anyone is so inclined to send me an email hjscranton@hotmail.com. Oh and the OP put led lights in the interior so my map lights are green/blue, the front int. light is blinding white and the rear ones are yellow/green that will change quick, but they didn't replace the obc/clock lights on the clock side or the cluster lights for the temp gauge, wtf.
