I've been tracking that car... second time it's been on there. First time it went for $7500 but I guess the buyer never showed up. Then the seller moves to Trenton from Mercerville (I live close by) and re-lists it.

Looks really clean, but when the price stays that low... for an M5, I'd stay away. I think people in the know, know not to buy an M5 for $5000. That car probably has a bad history.

where was it for its first 142,592 miles?It does look clean...maybe everyone is just scared of the clutch and or g/box problem

Gearbox rebuild runs $3500, so 5k sounds about right

sometimes people bid and find things at the right time and get good deals. Another member won a bid on a good running 840 or 850 for $4000 or some rediculous price like that.
