I tried moving the bulb for the fog light indicator to the Check Engine socket hoping to see it flash then proceed with the stomp test......it didn't light up even when i did the cluster test.......any help here?. the procedure in BMWE34.NET implies that it should work straight away ....maybe the DME is too old (535/89). :(
When i tried to move the same bulb to the seat belt indicator socket...it lighted up in the test.........what could be added to the seat belt locks to make this indicator functional.
