So you are doing a motor swap and customizing all your wiring and hoses for aesthetics and you want to know how to best access your engine bay?

First you pull the hood/bumper/headlights/kidneys/fascia and then you CUT **** OFF!

Upper radiator support unbolts nicely, lower radiator support cuts clean off nicely :)

All the subtlety of a communal bed-pan but good idea! Only problem I can see is how the hell are you going to get that monster intercooler in???

Thats the easy part! Intercooler is the size of the radiator ... 27" at the narrowest point and 31" at the wides which is up above the frame rails. Baby gonna sit right infront of the radiator which will be moved backward ~3 -4"

............from the looks of the right side inner fender well....I'd say you've got a really bad left side motor mount allowing the engine to rock over HARD when boosting.............:D :p

Or was that Hammer time ?lol

have you got a pic Jon of how it looks after normal removal of parts BEFORE cutting.Glad to see that the front comes(mostly) off.
PLEASE reroute that oil line that pokes through the intakes :(

Paul - no i don't - I just had pics of when I cut the lower member. You can see all the cutting I did though, just at the bottom of where the radiator would sit, that was removed.

Will try Paul - it gets messy and my camera is moderately pricey. I will try though. I've got all the bolts/nuts that came off the car in my tumbler/polisher now. Hoping they come out all polished (or mostly polished) :)
