ECU Location

Can some one tell me where the ECU is located. I need to check the number of the main control unit.
I will appreciate your help.

Top left hand corner of the enagine bay (looking from the front of the car) between the wheel arch and windscreen.
It's in a black box, undo a few screws and open up.

Exact opposite from the fuse box.

Its the black thingy behind my fingers. Pull up the silver clip to release.
