I've had to disconnect my gong, it kept crackling, although the actual 'ping' sound was undistorted.

Is this likely to be a fault with the gong or the adjacent (untidy) wiring

The gong always packs in on these cars, can be quite annoying because it'll suddenly make a gong noise after a period of silence and scare the crap outta you...

Pull one out of a scrapper, or hunt a new 80ohm speaker down for it!

It always scares my passengers, lol.

They're like, "What was that?!" *lean over in front of my face to see warning*

Now THAT is annoying. :D

same here plus they always say it reminds them of riding a plane "bong" fasten seatbelt:D
