Hi, I bought a set of non-staggered replica E39 M5 rims (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=290186158911&rd=1)
from ebay.

They are 18x8 and have a 20mm offset. I have the hubcentric rings I will require, but would like to know what size tire would work with these?

The real rims are staggered and use 245s in the front and 275s in the rear, but I don't think this applies to me.

Thanks for the help and happy motoring!

Edit: Oh, and I have a 95 525i Automatic.

If only they were the gunmetal color... have fun!

I like the Hyper Silver, do you have a pic of gunmetal, I am interested to see what they look like.

And once again, my question is, What size tires would go on these?
Thanks!

Some help please? 56 views and no replies?

Someone has to know the answer to what size tires go on an 18x8 20mm offset wheel. If someone can point me to a tire size calculator that would be great!

Please reply quickly as I cannot drive until I get these tires put on!

Mate, you need to be more pacient next time! You expected the answer after two hours! Easy, not everyone is on forum all the time.
As you know already, with 8x18 wheels you shoud use 245/40R18 tyres front and rear. It is the same tyre which was used by late euro spec M5 3.8.

I do get impatient, but I needed a quick answer because I had a limited window in which to purchase the tires and thanks to google, I found the answer in the link above (which I posted for future folks with that question).
So I ordered 4 Pirelli eufora@ 245/40/18's as you also suggested, so thanks for verifying!

Thanks for the reply though. I nearly ended up getting 275/35/18s in the rear.

I am in love with how the car will look with the new wheels (to be installed this week!). My dad's E60 545i has a whole lot more power, but I cannot stand the look of that bangleized shark/Buick.
