There used to be a stock 518i touring that would run on Commpressed Natural Gas.

Did you know there's also a 518i hybrid e34?

Other than the Brake Dust on the wheels and it being a bit dusty it looks ok to me.

1987?

Did the e34 really come out in 1987?

Isn't that still e28 territory even in Germany?

Well, I'm being difficult, but the point of view of the camera is not great, the setting neither, and I'm being picky but bottle caps I really don't like. Basketweaves are better looking on it. I'd rather see an M5 in there. Plus there's a lot of talented photographers on this site. It would do better justice to the car if there was a better picture.

The touring's picture is already way better.

They say they started building it then. Must have been before putting it on the market. It takes a bit of time to get the factory running to a good rythm. You also have to build up a good volume before you start selling.

Yeah, but it wasn't officially an 87 model.. it was an 88 in Europe and an 89 in the states. They were still selling e28's in 1988 in the states.

03/87 was the earliest e34 were build according to realoem... technically that is MY87

It looks ok, Kriss...

Its just a bit boring. Even standard our cars cut an imposing stance from the right angle.

I'm sure there as many members on here that have decent, imposing photos of their standard E34s, that would be much better than the one on the Wiki!!

Do you reckon all the MY87s are all dead now?? (except for museum pieces of course)

Ok.... go recheck the site... Is that a better picture?

It can always be returned if found unappropriate.
