I love the gts for the e39. One of my favorite wheel on them.

Wheels are cheap in winter. Looking to source a set ahead of time for the 540. Contemplating SSR GTs. What do you think?

My wife says they're too 'pimpy' looking and I should keep the 17" Privat Kraftwerk from the e34 (e39 fit).

I don't think they'd look "pimpy" if you put enough rubber on them. That stretched look never did anything for me. Taller, wider tires is the answer. Nice looking wheels, FWIW.

Gosh:

"They are expensive, heavy, bend easily, and give a rougher ride, end of story. For the foolish few that want the same look, here's some basic info on these 3-piece rims."

If you like danger...

They do look nice, but 19 inch is a bit much for my tastes. However, you will get that extra aggressive look which is not necessarily evil. ;)

staggered 18" stye-5.
But that's not you're style, you're definitely a 5-spoke guy.

I think the kraftwerks are gorgeous man, definitely the right wheel for you.

Ok, so now it's posting my comments BEFORE the last guy...

Yeah, if I can find good replicas in gunmetal color ;)

I'm going insane, or the forum clock has gone bezerk again.

Well these are gorgeous...

Other options are M5 wheels in gunmetal 18" (if I can find them not too expensive)
Hamann reps in 18" (better looking than Privats)

Hey you asked your our opinion!

It's all a matter of taste...
