Nice to have your name attached to one of the stupidest tips I've ever seen on a BMW forum. ;) What do when the M20 head gasket leaks? Put a huge skid plate over the bottom and fill the engine compartment with kitty-litter?

:D recrimping works and if it prolongs my needing to change hoses ill take it, i hate power steering hoses, about 1/4 of the time they don't fit and you gotta fight them

No problem with the crimp fix (because that really is a fix), but the catch pans are a story I'd be too embarrassed to tell. ;) Maybe the M20 head gasket leak is just God's own rust preventative.
