I am about to rekey my gf's driver's side door lock with a cylinder repair kit its the same mechanically as the e34 door lock cylinder I am wondering:
A. has anyone else done this for an e34 or 36 on this board.
and B. does the door lock read the EWS code(car is 11/96 build) or is only the ignition lock the only lock that reads the EWS coding in the key?
