In my opinion Depo's are cheap. Go with Hella.

.... about $110 for the Depos vs. $500+ for the Hellas....

wonder if the Hellas are really five times better though.

but will the Depos fit? realized I should have checked realoem first and I could'a figured it out...

cheers.

10X better. I've had problems with every Depo part I've ever bought and the had to turn around and buy the Hella part.

I recently had someone in a parking lot break one of my high beams, so I bought new Hella high beams. My ellipsoid lows were in good shape, but when I saw how the new highs looked I bought new Hella lows and new Hella fogs. They all look great on my car and the lighting is much brighter.

Don't forget to get the urethane protectors.

yeah now that you mention it i have the depo tails and the seals are weak and anytime I was the car water manages to get in to the trunk lid worryingly close to the wires

If you have height adjuster, the plug is different for early/late cars. That is a very cheap price! Less than the cost of one in Europe.

BTW: I just unpacked the Hella parts I got directly from my source in Germany. Compare that with the cheapos from DEPO and others:

-made in Germany
-checked the headlight high beam, it has metal reflector, as I used a magnet for checking!!!
Weight is net 550 Gramms!!! Compare that to DEPO plastic stuff or others.

The low beam has a weight of 400 Gramms net.
All this refers to these single items :D

Quality counts.

Sorry if this is obvious but is a 'set' right and left sides or is a 'set' normal and brights?
