Seriously, I think authorities here on the West coast should read this and take the subject more seriously. I think about 2 years ago there was a big fuss about plans to transport nuclear waste via trains from CA to a site in Yucca valley north of Vegas. Lots of people on both sides of the CA-NV stateline were pist about this. In the local paper, some reporter had all kinds of deadly scenarios in the event of a train accident but was rebutted by the railroad officials and others. They fought back saying that the chances of a train accident are just as remote as a meteor striking earth, or something to that effect.

People argued all it takes is just 1 accident for all this stuff to spread and cause deadly illnesses of epidemic proportions. I don't know about that but I don't want to find out either.
