E36 front bumper cover removal

New-to-me '95 E36 coupe has front bumper cover misaligned slightly on passenger side.

How to properly remove the front bumper cover for adjustment?

the black plastic strip pops out of the bumper revealing 2 nuts per side that hold the bumper in, the sides just slide into rails
