I have a mystery part hanging down from beneath my car.
I've tried attaching it with a zip-tie, and safety wire but it keeps coming loose.

Somehow I haven't lost it completely.

If someone can identify it, I can find the correct attachment hardware on realoem.

Thanks in advance,

That's the cooling duct for the M60 alternator I believe.

Thanks!

Check on realoem...I believe there are clamps/clips involved up the top!

Your car is also missing the grit pan under the engine I believe.

Interesting.
Buying my car used has a lot to do with an archeological dig.

"Hey.. it turns out this is supposed to be lit when it is dark out!"

That's definitely the alternator cooling duct on the 525 it mates up near the headlights right next to the air box.
