Hmmhh, even new for me. Is that also working on the E34?
---------------------------------------------------------------

Make sure that you replaced the sensor and the brake pads if you did not replace the sensor or pads this will not work. Turn the key to position two (when all of the inspection lights are lit), leave it in this position and leave your driver’s door open a few seconds (between 15 to 90 seconds depending on your car) and it magically resets. If that did not work turn the key to position two and push down on the brake then turn the key off and check to see if it turns off (door must also be open). If this still does not work press down on your brake (hold it pushed down) and turn the key to position two and wait until it turns off. If none of these work please go back and check that you installed the sensor correctly.

I think this applies to non-ccm vehicles (such as the TDS/520i) as these are the only ones fitted with the warning lamp, no?

New sensor (a fiver from the main dealer) stops the message and no reset necessary. Cant remember a warning lamp so assume there isnt one on mine. Then again mine warns me my door is open when I'm moving but doesnt give a fk if someone in the back gets out:) Elucidate me-whats non-ccm?

whats non-ccm?

= Non check control module

that is the socalled low version cluster (or similar) which has no check control.

Its when the vehicle isnt check control fitted like so:

That's my TDs with the 'Brake Warning Lamp' illuminated - which took a week to go out after I'd replaced the sensor!

around 95-96 they started that ****, theres a couple ways of resetting it, leave the key on while you go wash your hands, or use a airbag reset tool on it
