I love my M5

Note: not only a complete tool kit, but the emergency triangle, and wait….best of all the elusive “magic blue cloth”

Don’t feel left out guys….this is something only hardcore BMW geeks would appreciate (Shogun and I):D

Sorry, I get home late most nights, so the minute I get a chance to snap a few "centerfold" shots I'll post 'em up.

Till then....you'll only get the "fetish" shots

gee wasnt it only a few days ago

Well I checked it out...nice car, lotsa love, lotsa power.

Didn't fall in love ...was kinda like meeting a beautiful woman, but no sparks...maybe too much traffic to feel the love of the S38.

Needs a little more love ....got some rust bubbles on the sunroof panel, rear pass door, some scratches and nicks...no dents, rear self leveling gone.

What do you guys think.....

now its..look at this...look at that

I am as jealous as hell! :(

I bought some blue microfibre cloths for this purpose. Not the elusive "magic blue cloth", but I've been looking.

I have a full tool set but have not even heard of the "magic blue cloth" let alone seen one, in the flesh, so to speak.

I think I now have to go and sit down in a darkened room........

Ok, so I'm missing the blue towel and the screwdriver, but I do have the triangle (which is worthless btw w/o a sand bag.)

Every M5T comes with a few blemishes

I have the blue cloth... the other day I went to the gym and realized I left my workout rag at home, so I used the blue cloth. Am I going to hell?

When can I drive it? I don't have the magic blue cloth, but you may need it to clean off the drool.

No, am not driving it to work yet, gotta wait for all the paperwork & insurance.

The cops downtown will give me the ol' "body cavity search" if I have one bird dropping on the car, so everything has to be in order.

when you drive it, you'll have to wear a condom.

Have you seen the cops standing on the sidewalk downtown flagging drivers? I got flagged for the license plate filler on the front, but luckily no ticket, but now I have my plate back on. Tax dollars hard at work..

Had the same thing happen in the Touring & Sedan in the same week, on the same street corner...no ticket, just a warning.:D

Ha, I also have a blue cloth. I also have an emergency triangle. However, it is in a blue box and not the original style. I also added a thin plastic german orange safety vest. All of it fits in the tool kit.

Back from Istanbul. :)
Yes, that blue cloth is really a problem for the hardcore original fans. No more production.
Last year there was a dealer in the U.S. which had a supply of overstocked ones. But they are gone meanwhile.
I was lucky, the last 750 E32 parts car I bought had the blue cloth and the complete set of tools. :D

This is not THE REAL STUFF

must have the BMW logo on it.

And I found something which is even more rare, the glass for the E32 750iL Highline rear cooler box, item 4,
04 GLASS qty 2 52208113862 $73.41
http://www.bmwmobiletradition-online.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=GC81&mospid=47354&btnr=52_0480&hg=52&fg=30

If that is really the case, I will order them, as they are not available anymore from BMW Germany, BMW Japan.
I am presently asking thru the head of the BMW Club in Germany, if they reproduce a series, but so far no success, and the E32 is not yet under control of BMW Mobile Tradition, which produces old parts.

i hate that crap, i got hosed on the clutch pedal for my early e24 that was listed in the system, all of the other crap came along with a $24 refund check for the pedal, i wound up building something as i didn't feel like scouring the earth for a e12 clutch pedal

ill post pics of the e24s tool kit when i get home, i not only have the wonder snot rag but the elusive red handled screwdrivers too :D
