I got the oil filter housing on - it sets the motor off perfect. Still looking for an alternator housing to coat. Might just pull mine one day after work and take it up on the weekend.

Anyway - I changed route some. I am receiving an M52 crank shaft. I am buying Eagle forged M52 connecting rods, and Wiseco forged M52 pistons. This will basically result in a 2.8L M50 Non vanos with super duper crazy strength. The setup I have now (just the internals) will be up for sale if anyone is interested.

Coming together well. This would be neat as just a N/A beast.

Well it'll be a square motor where the bore and stroke are the same, commonly called a square motor - it should produce more torque and be more reliable. Additionally, I am doing 1500 hp forged rods and pistons.

NA!? Are you kidding?

76mm turbo + 30 psi + M50B28 non vanos = holy crap.

Target is big triple digits in hp

30 psi! I don't know much about turbos but that seems like a hell of a lot

Yeah I am excited about this too - what should I call it, an M50B28 non vanos? M52 non vanos? Ah who cares. Yeah we'll be spooling near 30 psi on a PT76GTS which is 76mm 1150 hp turbo.

Jon, what a beautiful engine. Coming from a twin turbo E34 myself, I appreciate what you are doing. I have subscribed to this thread. Show us the way!
