That is with climate automatic from Behr (Klimatronik).
In case your car does not have a climate control (just a heating system) and the parts are from Siemens, that is quickly done in 30 minutes

My freakin' heater core just dumps my coolant out when I fill it! Also, it smells like piss after my car sits in the rain, and when I turn on my heater it smells like fish!

Yummy!

wooo \m/:D \m/

Shogun, how did you get the heater core for $100 shipped?
Let us know, we want a piece of that action!

A friend in Germany bought it for me on Ebay Germany, the price was less than 100 $ ex Germany, plus shipping to Japan.
I assume that you can get it in USA also for such price incl. shipping.
Here the price for your model as Autohaus AZ
Behr $168.55

I felt rather heroic after successfully changing my heater core but wanted to ask what your opinion is about getting each and every last one of the little aluminum clips back on the cover. I found i was unable to reach to every clip fitments so ended up with perhaps as few as half of them back on albeit in a good overall distribution around the perimeter . I feared i would lose blower force due to leakage but this has not happened. My dash has a rigid bolted vertical bar to the right of the steering column which looked like it bolted to the dash top that made it very difficult to wrench the bolt holding in the swing gate for the two side pipes and also made it impossible to reach to come of those clip fitments but its been running just fine for a couple of months now, hasn't sprung a leak and blows plenty strong. Saving over a thousand dollars for the job still proves a source of satisfaction.
