Jam it forward with a matchstick? Totally OT let alone off thread but you may have some fog lamps. PM me if they are looking for another new home?:)

Just because you1re north of the thames and need a visa to travel south! For the benefit of our friends in the colonies, Oldham is where God put the enema tube.

Lol, the S/E/* switch is totally buggered, wont even go into S or * most of the time now, let alone stay in there...

RE the foglamps, I need to get down to barneys place sometime to grab the little pile of bits I left behind, not sure if both foglights were saved but I think the left one definitely was... now I'm selling the TDs as soon as the 540i has arrived, I think them going to a board member might be a better home for them :D

Apart from race riots, our most recent claim to fame is that our council is the first in England to prosecute a taxi driver for smoking in his car. There is a link but your challenge is to guess it. No prize if you live in UK. And we all know what Warren Clarke's (Dalziel) dad said when he moved to London to be an actor: Keep you hand on your holiday money and watch out for them southern nancy boys:) Foglamps?

Maybe I could trade straight up for my 530iT, which I do not think is worth too much more on the retail market.

Hal

1994 530iT 172,000 Nikasil miles
1999 528iT 104,000 non-Nikasil miles

That is brilliant!! I never laughed so loud!

A few years ago when there was a very small choice of new cars to buy in India they used to turn Tata Pickups (very very very loosely based on mercs) into Merc 190s by buying all the body panels and lights etc and moulding the body out of steel. They would turn a pick up into a saloon car. And they were very exclusive! Only trouble was that they were still a pick up underneath so they had a **** chassis and crap suspension, they drove like dogs (I drove my uncles one years ago). It was like the steering wheel was attached to the wheels with bubble gum - but that didn't matter, image (Indian style!!) is everything!!
